Dolores Claiborne, Chapter 2
In this chapter, in the beginning, Dolores helps her around still and brushes her hair for her and sometimes Vera would try to hug her and have her cheeks on her belly and she was sick because Dolores says how hot her head always felt and how bad she complained of how much pain she was always in. Sometimes to make her feel less lonely, she'd lay in bed with her and hug her until she drifted off to sleep then she would leave the house and go to her home. She also confesses again that she killed her husband but also gets in description. She says that one reason she killed him was because he was abusive because he punched her and hit her a lot when he was drunk. She also said he had a gambling problem and that he got jelous a lot and didn't have no sense of humor.
